The fire, occurred on the gas pipeline CAC-4 (Central Asia-Center, "Inter Gas Central Asia"), did not affect gas supplies to consumers, spokesperson for KazTransGas Saule Zhumabayeva told Trend.
"The fire did not affect gas deliveries to consumers," she said.
She said that gas was supplied via the second line of the gas pipeline.
It was reported that the accident occurred on the gas pipeline on Monday night.
Nobody died as a result of the accident, the ministry of emergency situations said.
