Iran exported 7.3 million tons of petrochemical products valued at $5.3 billion during the first five months of the current solar year, SHANA reported.
Iran's production capacity is 54.4 million tons while more than 17 million tons were produced in five past months.
Its predicted production will reach 46 million tons by the end of the current year and export 19 million tons to foreign countries.
Iran is the second largest petrochemical exporter to Turkey and exported 21,000 tons of polymer to the country in July.
