The capacity of all Turkmen electric power plants is 4151.7 MW, including 1,792 MW. About 43.2 percent fall to modern gas turbines, Neutral Turkmenistan reported today.
"The gas-turbine generators are very reliable," the article said.
The level of electricity production is projected to reach 35.5 billion kw / hour in accordance with the development strategy by 2030.
Four gas turbine electric power stations with total capacity of 1,496 MW are planned to be built to realize this goal.
The article stressed that Turkmenistan increases exports of electricity to Iran and Afghanistan.
