Iranian Oil Minister Gen. Rostam Ghasemi appointed Valiollah Ahmadvand, Khatam al-Anbya Consruction Co. Deputy Head for Contracts and Legal Affairs, the deputy oil minister for legal and international affairs, Pananews reported.
Iranian new oil minister Ghasemi took his office in August.
Ghasemi previously served as Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General and commander of Khatam al-Anbya Construction Headquarters, an IRGC's construction unit, which currently implements most of Iran's oil and gas projects.
