Bakielektrikshebeke decreases electricity purchase

Bakielektrikshebeke (electricity sale and distribution in Baku) bought 5.42 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-August from Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in the regions of Azerbaijan) compared to about 5.5 billion kilowatt-hours in January-August 2010 decreasing electricity purchase by 1.45 percent compared to the same period of 2010, the company reported.

Bakielektrikshebeke (electricity sale and distribution in Baku) bought 5.42 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-August from Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in the regions of Azerbaijan) compared to about 5.5 billion kilowatt-hours in January-August 2010 decreasing electricity purchase by 1.45 percent compared to the same period of 2010, the company reported.

The company bought 635.8 billion kilowatt-hours in August compared to 648.8 billion kilowatt hours in August 2010 from Azerenergy.

Bakielektrikshebeke paid on average about 91.8 percent in January-August for electricity from Azerenergy compared to 86.7 percent in January-August. In August this figure hit 96 percent compared to 92.3 percent in August 2010.

In 2010 this figure hit 96.2 percent compared to 84.44 percent on average in 2009.
The company bought over 7.92 billion kilowatt-hours in 2010 compared to 8.1 billion kilowatt hours in 2009 from Azerenergy.
