The Russian Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port shipped about 84.3 million tons of oil in January-September compared to 85.07 million tons in January-September 2010, the statement posted on the official website of the port said on Friday.
The port transported 13 million tons of oil products during this period compared to 9.57 million tons in January-September 2010.
The port handled 117.2 million tons of cargo in January-September compared to 116.05 million tons over the same period of last year.
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transports own oil through this port.
