Iran’s Shazand refinery to boost gasoline output by 4.3mln liters

By commissioning two development plans at the Emam Khomeini refinery in Shazand, central Iran, the daily gasoline output at the refinery will increase to 8.3 million liters from 4 million liters.

It is projected that the refinery will boost its gasoline production capacity to 16 million liters per day by the end of the current calendar year (March 2012), the IRNA news agency reported.

The Shazand refinery's development plan started in September 2006 by an Iranian consortium and a Chinese company.
