Total production of gas amounted to 32.650 billion cubic meters in Kazakhstan in January-October 2011, as compared to 30.372 billion cubic meters during the same period in 2010, the Kazakh Statistics Agency dispatching management told Trend.
Gas production in Kazakhstan totaled 3.196 bcm in October compared to 3.133 bcm during the same period last year. In October gas production in the country increased by 2 percent as compared to October 2010 and increased by 2.3 percent compared to the previous month.
The implementation of the plan in September for the country's gas extraction amounted to 90.7 percent extracted gas, and natural gas extracted at 84.2 percent.
