The deficit of fuel totaled 50 percent rate in the South Kazakhstan region, so the most of gas stations has to shut down, the rest of them have to supply fuel in small amounts by the special vouchers, CA-NEWS reported.

"The gas stations of Shymkent do not receive high-demanded AI-80 and AI-92 types of fuel. The main supplier of fuel, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products factory, is at the maintenance since October-November 22, however it still cannot work on the high capacity level," President of Bowser Association of South Kazakhstan Kaipbek Kambarov said.

One of the aspects of the factory's inefficiency is that the plant was completely de-energized on November 21, causing serious complications to the technological regimes. The incident happened the first time in the background of the factory.

40 percent of civil buses do not complete their routes due to the shortage of diesel in Shymkent.
