Kazakhstan decreases gasoline production by 5.1 percent in 2011

Kazakhstan decreased the volume of gasoline production by 5.1 percent in 2011, Kazakhstan's Agency of Statistics reported.

According to the agency, Kazakhstan produced 2.8 million tons of gasoline in January to December 2011.

Kazakhstan has three large oil refineries: Pavlodar refinery, Shymkent refinery and Atyrau petrochemical plant.

Earlier a ban on petroleum, oil and lubricants export from Kazakhstan was imposed.
