The volume of gasoline consumption in Iran amounted to about 823.4 million liters in the first half of January 2012 compared to about 817.3 million liters during the similar period of 2011, the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company said on Tuesday.
The consumption of kerosene was about 316.7 million liters compared to about 281 million liters during the reporting period of 2011, diesel fuel - 856.64 million liters compared to about 899.3 million liters and gas oil - over 1.73 billion liters compared to about 1.45 billion liters.
Iranian population, industrial enterprises, commercial facilities and power plants consumed gas in the amount of about 7.66 billion cubic meters in the first half of January compared to over 7.5 billion during the same period of 2011.
