Documents on the creation of an Ukrainian-Azerbaijani joint venture to supply liquefied natural gas will be signed on Jan. 27 during the International Investment Forum in Davos, the UNIAN agency said on Thursday.

Documents on the creation of an Ukrainian-Azerbaijani joint venture to supply liquefied natural gas will be signed on Jan. 27 during the International Investment Forum in Davos, the UNIAN agency said on Thursday.

The document will be signed by the energy ministers of the two countries Natig Aliyev and Yuri Boyko.

Two documents will be signed between the two countries on gas supplies to a LNG terminal and the creation of a Ukrainian-Azerbaijan company to develop the project to build the object.

It is expected that the developer of a feasibility study for Ukrainian LNG-terminal is Spanish company Socoin will completed the work soon. The cost of construction of the terminal has decreased from $1.5 billion to $1 billion.

The LNG terminal will include a marine terminal for liquefied natural gas. Ukraine will be able to diversify gas supplies in the amount of 10 billion cubic meters of gas per year after its launch.
