Turkish Optimum Energy will build a HPP with a capacity of 11 MW in Georgia's region of Samtskhe-Javakheti.
The construction of the Arakali HPP will begin in April 2012, the Energy and Natural Resources Ministry told Trend. The production will be 63 million KW/hours.
The company will invest $21.52 million and the construction will be completed by 2014.
Arakali is among 15 HPPs earlier announced for construction by Georgia.
