Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 26 /Trend M. Moezzi/

Iranian household, industries and power plants natural gas use averaged 540 million cubic meters a day thru February 20-25, a 20 percent jump over the same period last year, Shana news agency reports.

The biggest consumers were homes, businesses and non-major industries who used an average of 415 million cubic meters of gas a day.

Despite the record high demand for natural gas, service hasn't been interrupted in any of Iran's provinces, Shana reported.

Several cold air fronts have moved across Iran, bringing snow, pushing down temperatures and driving up consumption of natural gas.
