Gas and oil products consumption in Iran for Feb.15-29

The volume of gasoline consumption in Iran amounted to 787.8 million liters in the second half of February 2012 compared to about 721 million liters during the same period of 2011, the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company said on Monday.

The consumption of kerosene was 253.77 million liters compared to about 198 million liters during the same period of 2011, diesel fuel - 662.56 million liters compared to about 620 million liters and gas oil - 1.45 billion liters compared to about 1.15 billion liters respectively.

Liquefied gas consumption during this period hit 80,600 tons compared to 77,000 tons during the same period of last year.

Iranian population, industrial enterprises, commercial facilities and power plants consumed gas in the amount of 6.88 billion cubic meters in the second half of February compared to 6.76 billion during the same period of 2011.
