Oil product consumption in Azerbaijan ups in Jan.-Feb.

Some 605,400 tons of oil products were sent to the domestic market of Azerbaijan in Jan.-Feb., compared to 547,500 tons in Jan.-Feb. 2011, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Friday.

About 160,700 tons from the total volume of oil products fell on gasoline which was sold mainly in the domestic market, or 0.7 per cent more compared to Jan.-Feb. 2011. The wholesale cost of one ton of gasoline of A-92 grade (including delivery and VAT) is 670 manat, of A-95 grade - 736 manat in the domestic market of Azerbaijan.

About 157,300 tons of diesel fuel was sold in Azerbaijan's domestic market, or 11.4 per cent more compared to Jan.-Feb. 2011. The wholesale cost of one ton of diesel fuel (including delivery and VAT) is 485 manat in the domestic market.

About 24,700 tons of fuel oil was sold in the domestic market in Jan.-Feb, or 35.2 per cent less compared to Jan.-Feb. 2011.

About 77,600 tons of aviation kerosene was sold in the domestic market, or 2.9 per cent more compared to Jan.-Feb. 2011. The wholesale cost of one ton of aviation kerosene (including delivery and VAT) is 307 manat in the domestic market.

About 28,200 tons of petroleum bitumen were sold in the domestic market of Azerbaijan, or 42.4 per cent more compared to Jan.-Feb. 2011. The wholesale cost of one ton of petroleum bitumen BN 60/90 (including delivery and VAT) is 160 AZN.

About 20,000 tons of liquefied gas (LPG) were sold in the domestic market of Azerbaijan, or 2 percent less compared to Jan.-Feb. 2011.

About 135,800 tons of other types of petroleum products were sold in the domestic market, or 47.6 per cent more compared to Jan.-Feb. 2011.
