SOCAR has stopped installing the ED-AVQ-6 primary oil refining unit at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery in accordance with the schedule for carrying out repairs, SOCAR said.
The vacuum unit No 22 was commissioned within the repair work to provide the units No 55 and 43 with raw materials.
SOCAR is the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan. The company has two refineries on its balance.
SOCAR processes oil from the onshore and offshore fields at its own expense at the Baku refineries with a total capacity of 20 million tons per year.
