Turkmenistan auctioned about 580,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Turkmenistan auctioned about 580,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 150,000 tons of gasoline, 85,000 tons of diesel fuel, 20,000 tons of furnace oil, 160,000 tons of fuel oil, 60,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, about 80,000 tons of liquefied gas and about 10,000 tons of kerosene and 20,000 tons of light gas oil.

Some 48 deals were registered at the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange. Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products hits $107 million.

Companies from UK, the UAE, Afghanistan, and the Virgin Islands bought A-80 gasoline, diesel fuel L-0,2-62, lamp oil KO-20, low-sulfur heating oil.

The representatives from Azerbaijan, Great Britain, China, Russia, Liechtenstein, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries are the traditional participants of the auction.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
