Production of motor fuel (gasoline) has totalled 1.033 million tons in Kazakhstan since early 2012 until May 1, or 32.5 per cent more than during the corresponding period in 2011, Kazakh Statistics Agency said on Monday.
"During this period, 143,000 tons of kerosene was produced, or a 13 per cent increase in production volume, 1.511 million tons of diesel fuel, or a 3.5 per cent increase and 1.375 million tons of fuel oil, a 5.3 per cent increase," the agency said.
Three major oil refineries: Pavlodar, Atyrau and Shymkent operate in Kazakhstan at present.
