The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents has approved the new state standard AZS GOST R 52079-2012 on "Welded Steel Pipes for Main Gas, Oil and Oil Product Pipelines. Specifications," the committee said on Monday.
This standard determines the requirements for welded steel and spiral steel pipes with a diameter of 114-1,420 mm, transporting active products (gas, oil and petroleum products) not subjected to corrosion at an operating pressure of 9.8 MPa and temperatures from +50 degrees
to -60 degrees.
