Tripartite talks between Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan on the construction of a SOCAR plant in Kyrgyzstan are expected in short run, the president of Oil Traders Association of Kyrgyzstan Jumakadyr Akeneyev reported to Trend on Monday.
In his words, the date of the meeting has not been specified yet.
The final decision on construction of oil refinery, as well as final determination of oil source are planned to be made within the negotiations.
The issue of provision of the plant with raw material has not been solved yet.
The agreement on the consideration of SOCAR refinery construction in Kyrgyzstan was reached by the parties on January 19 during the meeting of Kyrgyz president Almazbek Atambayev with SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev.
