As of Nov.30, the daily volume of gas supplied to the Azerbaijani population was 15.9 million cubic meters compared to 7 million cubic meters, as of Nov.5, Azerigaz Production Association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) told Trend on Friday.
As Azerigaz said, 9.2 million cubic meters of the total volume of gas supplied to the public every day, accounts for Baku, which is five million cubic meters more than the figure as of Nov.5
"The volume of gas supplied to other regions of the country hits 6.7 million cubic meters per day," Azerigaz said.
The supplied gas volumes are determined by demand and fully satisfy customer needs, Azerigaz, which deals with gas transportation and sale in the territory of Azerbaijan, said.
SOCAR includes the Azneft production association (the companies producing oil and gas on and offshore), the Azerkimya industrial association (chemical enterprises) and Azerigaz industrial association (gas distribution).
