Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze met with representatives of the Russian company Inter RAO and the Czech Energo-Pro Georgia on Tuesday.
Reducing tariffs for electricity was discussed during the meeting, but the exact figure of tariffs reducing wasn't defined again.
"There is no specific agreement yet. Working groups will meet with representatives of InterRAO and Energo-Pro Georgia today and tomorrow, Results of the negotiations and the specific solutions will be announced at a special briefing," Kaladze said.
Kaladze said tariff, which today is 17 tetri ($ 1 = 1.66 lari) for 1 kilowatt hour, can be reduced by 3-4 tetri in Georgia. However, experts say that the tariff can be reduced to 9.5 tetri.
