The Geophysics and Geology Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has conducted a vertical seismic profiling on well 23 at the offshore "Alat-Deniz" field, the Department said.
According to the report, the depth of the well where the work was carried out is 4,650 meters.
The work was carried out from the seismic station AMC-VSP-3-48 M and the vessel "Geophysicist 1". Indications of the well following the conducted work are satisfactory.
SOCAR includes the Azneft production association (the companies producing oil and gas on and offshore), the Azerkimya industrial association (chemical enterprises) and Azerigaz industrial association (gas distribution).
