Production of electricity amounted to 90.5 billion kW / h in Kazakhstan in 2012, the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.
"In Kazakhstan electricity production amounted to 90.5 billion kW / h in 2012 which is 4.6 per cent more than the same period in 2011," Statistics Agency reported.
According to the agency, in 2011, electricity production in the country increased by 3.8 per cent compared to 2010 and amounted to 85.812 billion kW / h and heat production decreased by 0.3 per cent amounting to 95.804 million Gcal.
