Kazakh National company Socio-Entrepreneurial Corporation 'Pavlodar' plans to build a wind power plant worth 15 billion tenge ($99.44 million) in Kazakh Pavlodar region, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to regional authorities.
The capacity of a new wind power plant will amount to 50 MW.
The wind power plant will be built within the state program on forced industrial-innovative development and will be located 100 kilometers far from the city of Ekibastuz.
According to chairman of Socio-Entrepreneurial Corporation 'Pavlodar' Almas Madiyev, the wind installation will be repaid in ten years.
The wind potential of the Pavlodar region hit 7.5 meters per second on average, he said.
