BP Group Chief Executive to discuss company’s projects in Azerbaijan (UPDATE)

BP Group Chief Executive Bob Dudley is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, a source in oil and gas industry told Trend.

BP Azerbaijan confirmed this information to Trend, stressing that Bob Dudley arrived on a one-day working visit. It is one of planned regular visits to Baku, during which current issues on the projects operated by BP in this region will be discussed.

BP company is a participant of major energy projects in Azerbaijan. In particular, the company is the operator of the development of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields' block, as well as the technical operator of the Shah Deniz offshore gas condensate field development. In addition, State Oil of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and BP signed a contract for the exploration and development of the Shafag-Asiman prospective block.

The company is also participant of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and South Caucasus gas pipeline.
