A project on construction of a high-capacity solar power plant was presented in Zhanakorgan area in Kyzylorda region, Kazakhstan, Kazinform reported.
The capacity of the solar power plant will hit 65 million kWh, so it will be the largest solar power plant in Kazakhstan. All work processes at the plant will be automated so its staff will not be too numerous, consisting of only 50 specialists.
The project is invested by Samruk-Kazyna Invest, Odyssey Investment Group and Chinese EN Solar Group.
According to the head of Kyzylorda region Krymbek Kusherbayev, the power plant will start supplying electricity in December 2013. The project will reach its full capacity in March, 2014.
