SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has commissioned a new gas station in Tbilisi under the SOCAR brand, a statement released by SOCAR on Wednesday said.
According to the report, there are currently 105 SOCAR stations in Georgia.
As SOCAR reported earlier, SOCAR plans to open 30 more gas stations in Georgia in the next two years. 15 stations will be opened in Georgia during the following year.
In December last year, SOCAR commissioned the first multi-functional combination gas station opened in Georgia.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan (with two refineries on its balance), owns petrol stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
