The partners of the oil and gas fields "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" (ACG) are stabilizing production volumes at the fields, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev told the media today.
He said that at present, the daily production volume at the ACG is 95,000 tons of oil, which is an approximation to an annual volume of 33 million tons.
"At the moment, we are working on the preparation of stabilization programs for 2014 and 2014-2024 and from 2024 until the completion of the exploitation process," Abdullayev said.
Regarding the development of deep laying gas at the ACG, Abdullayev said that the primary version of the risk-service of the contract has already been submitted to partners and at the moment they are considering the submitted proposals.
"The company intends to work in the structures with less risk within the risk-service contracts in the future," he said. "The work will be carried out on the projects with higher risks within PSA contracts. The work within the risk-service contracts will allow the company to increase its own hydrocarbon reserves."
