Turkmenistan Turkmenbashi oil refinery has processed 3.336 million tons of oil from January to June of 2013, which is 1.8 per cent more in comparison with last year, Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan reports.
Raw materials are delivered to the largest industrial enterprise of the country with the help of sea transport and trough special pipelines.
Turkmenistan plans to increase its output from 15 million tons of oil per year to 20 million tons in 2020, to 252million tons in 2025and 30 million tons in 2030.
Currently, the country produces approximately 10 million tons of oil and a significant part of it is processed in local oil refineries.
