Kuwaiti authorities have made a decision to supply Egypt with $200 million worth oil products, "Alrai" newspaper said on Monday.
The deliveries of oil products will be carried out within Kuwait's efforts to give $4 billion aid dollars to Egypt. In particular, $1 billion will be given to Egypt in the form of a grant.
Besides Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE earlier declared that they will provide Egypt with financial assistance. These countries will provide Egypt with a total of $8 billion.
Egypt's demands for oil products continue to grow. In particular, the consumption of diesel fuel in Egypt is estimated at 39,000 tons per day, 22.000 of which is imported to the country. Petroleum consumption in Egypt is 18,000 tons per day, 10% of which is imported.
