About 61,400 tons of polyethylene were produced in Azerbaijan in January-October 2013, which is by 13.8 percent more than in the same period of 2012, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend today.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the increase of production was observed in most categories of basic types of chemical products in January-October in Azerbaijan.

Around 23,270 tons of solid polyethylene pipes, tubes and hoses were produced in the country in January-October, which is by 6.6 percent more than in the same period of 2012. Moreover, about 506 tons of polyurethane plates and strips were produced in the country, which is 9.3 percent more than in January-October 2012.
