As of 2013, oil production volumes in Azerbaijan are projected at 44 million tons, Deputy Energy Minister Natig Abbasov told journalists on Dec.11.
The deputy minister said that this year's oil production volume was projected at 41.06 million tons, but actually an increase in production is expected for the year.
Also, Abbasov added that according to forecasts, gas production volumes in 2014 may reach 28 billion cubic meters.
Regarding the production forecast for this year, the deputy minister said that gas production in 2013 exceeded the forecast by 1.5 billion cubic meters.
