Kazakhstan bans export of some oil products

By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakhstan will impose a temporary ban on the export of light distillates, kerosene, gas oil and other petroleum products, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.

The restriction will come into force on Jan.1, 2014 according to the governmental decision.

The ban do not applies to some special gasoline and heating oil.

The measure is aimed at prevention of a critical shortage of oil products and price rise in Kazakhstan, the governmental decree said.
