Kazakh KazTransOil to increase tariffs in April for pumping exported oil

The tariffs of KazTransOil Company for pumping oil for export will increase in April, the company said.

"The Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of Kazakhstan has approved the tariff and tariff estimates for regulated services on pumping oil for export through the main pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC. The decision was made as an emergency and control measure and the new tariff was established to the sum of 5 817.2 tenge/1000 ton-kilometres excluding VAT. The new tariff will take effect from April 1, 2014," the company said.

The previous tariff for this regulated service was equal to 4 850.6 tenge/1000 ton-kilometres, excluding VAT.

"However, the tariff for pumping oil to the domestic market remained unchanged (2 931.8 tenge/1000 ton-kilometres excluding VAT," KazTransOil said.

The official exchange rate on March 26 is 182.02 тенге/$1.
