The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline which exports most of the oil produced in Azerbaijan, transported around 1.4 million tons of Turkmen oil in January-March, compared to 774,700 tons in the same period last year, the Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee reported.

Some 3.1 million tons of Turkmen oil were transported via BTC in 2013 compared to 3.1 million tons in 2012.
