Azerbaijani energy operator’s assets exceed $7 bln

As of December 31, 2013, Azerenergy's assets (electric power generation and distribution in Azerbaijan) hit 5.52 billion manats compared to over 5.33 billion manats in 2011, according to Azerenergy's consolidated report.

Azerenergy's long term assets hit 5.02 billion manats in 2013 compared to 4.89 billion manats in 2012, and short term assets - 498.7 million manats compared to 442.48 million manats in 2012, according to the report.

As of 2013, the authorized capital amounted to 1.76 billion manats and remained unchanged compared to 2012. The aggregate capital amounted to 2.2 billion manats compared to 2.02 billion manats in the previous year.

The energy operator's long term liabilities as of 2013 amounted to 1.76 billion manats compared to 1.93 billion manats in 2012. In turn, its short term liabilities reached 1.56 billion manats while they hit 1.39 billion manats in 2012.

As of 2013, the revenues totaled 743.25 million manats compared to 749.9 million manats in 2012.

As of 2013, the total revenues amounted to 84.59 million manats compared to 158.55 million manats in 2012.

The total capacity of the power plants owned by Azerenergy exceeds 6000MW. There are more than 200 substations with a capacity of 500, 330, 220 and 110 kilovolt-amperes, as well as six hydropower plants and 13 thermal power plants on its balance sheet.
