Iranian natural gas refineries produced about 82.2 billion cubic meters sweet gas during the first half of current fiscal year, which indicates a 4 percent increase year-to-year.
During this period 1.337 million metric tons of LPG (+70%) as well as 754,000 metric tons of ethane (+3%) produced, Abdolhossein Samari, National Iranian Gas Company's deputy managing director for operations told Shana Oct. 6.
He also referred to continuance of maintaining operations at gas refineries, saying the operations are intensively progressing.
Iran produced about 178 bcm/a of sweet gas during last fiscal year.
