Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) has commissioned a new gas filling station in Pirsaat village of the country’s Hajigabul district, said the company’s website.
The new filling station under SOCAR’s brand name became the 21st filling station of the company in Azerbaijan. It has been equipped with POS-terminals for cashless payment, last model Japanese fuel dispensers and automatic system of control over the sale of fuel and the state of tanks.
The ceremony of commissioning the filling station was attended by the director general of SOCAR Petroleum CJSC Togrul Seyidov. He noted that the opening of new filling stations will make it possible to create new jobs, adding that around 60 people work in each filling station of SOCAR.
SOCAR is engaged in retail sale of oil products in its gas filling stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
