Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR exported 1.49 million tons of oil from Georgia’s Supsa port in January-July 2016, as compared to around 1.6 million tons in the first seven months of 2015, said SOCAR’s website.
The company exported 274,680 tons of oil from Supsa port in July 2016.
SOCAR exported around 2.79 million tons of oil from this port in 2015, as compared to nearly 2.96 million tons in 2014.
Oil is delivered to Supsa port via the Baku-Supsa pipeline operated by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
