South Pars gas condensates export up 114%

In the first five months of the current Iranian fiscal year (since March 20), the amount of gas condensates exported from the South Pars reached 8,706,252 tons, 114 percent higher than that of last year the same period.

The exported amount was worth $3.598 billion, which was 76 higher than the export value of last year same period, IRNA news agency quoted Director of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Customs Administration Ahmad Pourheidar as saying August 28.

Iran’s gas condensates export increased hugely after the country was released from sanctions in January.

The country’s gas condensates output stands at 600 thousand barrels a day, 400-500 thousand of which is exported. The South Pars is Iran’s biggest source of gas condensates.
