Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR exported 1.58 million tons of oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in January-July 2017, as compared to 1.49 million tons in the same period of 2016, SOCAR said in a message Aug. 1.
SOCAR exported 264,489 tons of oil from the Supsa port in July 2017 which is by more than half exceeds the volumes in June 2017.
SOCAR exported 2.38 million tons of oil from the Supsa port in 2016, as compared to 2.79 million tons in 2015.
Oil is delivered to Supsa via the Baku-Supsa pipeline operated by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
