Russia’s Novorossiysk international sea trade port transshipped 51.12 million tons of oil in January-August 2017, as compared to 54.44 million tons in the same period of 2016, said a message posted on the port’s website.
The Novorossiysk port transshipped 21.24 million tons of oil products in January- August 2017, as compared to 21.65 million tons in the same period of 2016.
Overall, 97.05 million tons of various cargos were transshipped via the port in January- August 2017, as compared to 98.36 million tons in the same period of 2016.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR transships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. The oil is delivered there via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
