Total price of deals on Turkmen exchange trading revealed

Sixty-two deals were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week, Nebit-Gaz, online newspaper of the country’s Oil and Gas Complex, reported Nov. 13.

Entrepreneurs from the US, the UAE, Afghanistan and other countries for foreign currency purchased gasoline and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. In addition, dyed terry products, cotton yarn, licorice extract were sold for foreign currency.

Russia, Turkey, Serbia, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan were the buyer countries. The total price of the deals exceeded $68.421 million.

Entrepreneurs from Russia, the UK and Pakistan purchased cotton yarn, medical cotton wool and raw fatty acids of cotton soap stock for a total of over 5.509 million Turkmen manats ($1.57 million as of Nov. 13).
