By Huseyn Hasanov – Trend:

Turkmenistan’s Turkmenoil state concern has developed a “road map” for geological and technical measures for 2018-2024, the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper reported.

The state concern operates about three dozen fields that include more than 600 oil and gas deposits at various stages of development.

It is planned to actively develop new fields (Northern Goturdepe, Altygui, Uzynada), introduce modern methods of increasing oil recovery at productive deposits that have been in long-term operation, and apply advanced technologies in well overhaul.

Drilling operations and the scale of construction of exploration and production wells will be significantly increased. Particular attention will be paid to the study of deep-lying structures, says the article.

Moreover, implementation of projects for accelerated industrial development of promising fields in the Turkmen sector and the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea will continue.
