The volume of natural gas consumption will be 54.532 billion cubic meters in Turkey in 2018, according to the forecast of the country’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), the EPDK said in a message.
In 2017, gas consumption was 46.29 billion cubic meters in Turkey.
Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran are main suppliers of natural gas to Turkey. Besides, Ankara signed agreements with Algeria and Nigeria for the annual supply of 4.4 billion and 1.2 billion cubic meters of liquefied gas, respectively.
