SOCAR sells LPG in Ukraine

SOCAR LPG (subsidiary of Azerbaijani SOCAR) sold 20 tons of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Ukraine, Ukrainian media reported on Feb. 14.

According to the report, the company held a public sale of LPG on online Petroleum Trading Platform web-portal.

“The company offered sale of 20 tons of LPG produced on local Mozyr Oil Refinery with a starting price of 18,300 UAH [more than $680] per ton. Butane/propane mix fuel was sold to one customer for starting price as a result,” the report said.

The commodity is to be shipped from Makarov gas filling station of Zhytomyr region on Feb. 14—15. Total amount of deal is 366,000 UAH [more than $13,600].

SOCAR LPG was registered in Cherkasy city in July 2016. Founders of the new company were Halych Fuel Company Business Ltd and SOCAR Ukraine Ltd.

SOCAR is represented by SOCAR Energy Ukraine subsidiary and owns network of 60 fuel stations.
