From November 16, 2018, the tariffs for natural gas will increase in Uzbekistan, Podrobno.uz reported.
On November 16, 2018, the Government of Uzbekistan issued a decree "On the phased change of prices and tariffs for fuel and energy resources."
According to the decree, from November 16, the cost of 1 cubic meter of gas for the population in the presence of gas meters will be 320 soums compared to the current 289.74 soums. At the same time, from June 1, 2019, the gas prices will rise to 350 soums per 1 cubic meter.
In the absence of gas meters, the price of gas from November 16 will amount to 320 soums for heating and 553 soums per 1 cubic meter for cooking and hot water supply. From June 1, the tariffs will rise to 350 soums and 605 soums, respectively.
The government raised prices for liquefied gas from 800 soums to 950 soums from November 16 and to 1,200 soums from June 1, 2019.
