Uzbekistan produces less petroleum, more natural gas

In January-October 2018, Uzbekistan produced 966,800 tons of gasoline, which is 6.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2017, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a report.

The volume of produced diesel fuel amounted to 900,100 tons, which is also 10.6 percent more compared to the same period of 2017.

At the same time, in January-October 2018, Uzbekistan reduced petroleum production to 624,300, which is 9.2 percent less compared to the ten months of 2017.

In the reporting period, natural gas production in Uzbekistan amounted to about 49.46 billion cubic meters, which is 6.8 percent more compared to the same period in 2017.

As of Nov. 1, 2018, Uzbekistan produced over 1.74 million tons of gas condensate, which is 10.5 percent higher compared to the ten months of 2017.
